Andre Gomes reads a letter from fans and cannot avoid tears
Everton have published an emotional videa in which Andre Gomes reads letters from fans talking about his serious injury against Tottenham.
"I really want to say thank you, it means a lot to me and makes things easier," an emotional Andre Gomes stated, as he was unable to hide his emotions and let out some tears.
Letters from Everton fans and from other teams have were wanted to raise the Portuguese's spirits, who was seriously injured after a strong collision with Son and Aurier. He had be operated on urgently and will be out for several months.
"It's nice to receive thiese, it's emotional to read these things. I can only thank everyone. I will come back stronger, I'm sure. I want to help the team to reach our aims and once again, thank you," said Andre Gomez, who also couldn't help laughing at some of the fans anecdotes. "I was so angry once that I kicked the table and broke my big toe," he read.
