Ander Herrera to reject return to Athletic Bilbao
According to 'Sportsmail', Ander Herrera is ruling out a return to Athletic Bilbao in favour of remaining with Manchester United until his contract expires next year.
The 28-year-old will face tough competition in midfield with United having recently signed Shakhtar Donetsk's Fred and Jose Mourinho hoping to sign another midfielder ahead of their next campaign.
Herrara is reportedly considering a move back to the Spanish league, having been a subject of interest from both Atletico Madrid and Barcelona in recent years.
The midfielder will be about to intitiate negotiations with European clubs from the January next year, leaving Herrera with plenty of time to make a decision over his future at Old Trafford.
