Aduriz warns Barca: "Athletic is very, very good"

The former striker Aritz Aduriz, goal scorer and main star of Athletic Club in the last decade, assured, just a few hours before the final of the Supercup against FC Barcelona in La Cartuja, that he thinks his former team is "very, very good".

"The team is very, very good, very connected, they have a great confidence, doing things very well, knowing what the new manager is asking them and with clear ideas. And this is transmitted on the field", said Aduriz, already in the concentration hotel of the Basque team, in statements given by the Basque club.

Aduriz revealed that he is in Seville with his former teammates at the request of the new coach, Marcelino García Toral.

"The delegate, Sendoa (Agirre), sent me a message saying that Mr. wanted to talk to me and asked me if I wanted to come with the expedition, since he always refers to the fact that being here is thanks to the work that was done last year. That I was part of it, that both Beñat (Etxebarria) and (Mikek) Sanjo couldn't come and that I would see if I could accompany them in this final match," he revealed.
