Wycombe Wanderers striker Akinfenwa, known as "the strongest player in the world" due to his heavy build, has recorded a video in which he jokingly threatens Ramos for having injured Mohamed Salah.

The striker, who became world famous during his spell at AFC Wimbledon for his monstrous physique, recorded the video at home and shared it on social media platform Twitter. In it, he sent a somewhat bizarre message to Sergio Ramos.

He said: ''So it's been a week since the Champions League final and I've just got back from holiday. Sergio Ramos, not only did you take out my man Mo Salah, but now I'm hearing you put Karius in concussion.''

''Look brother, I'm never going to play against you because I'm never going to make it to the Champions League, but you're lucky, because if I did...'' Akinfenwa then pauses to attempt to rip a replica Ramos boot with his bare hands.

The 36-year-old was clearly joking when he threatened the Real Madrid captain, but he will likely have been upset at the Champions League final result having been a life-long Liverpool supporter.
