Achraf Hakimi, the Borussia Dortmund gootballer, was one of the main protagonists of Tuesday's Champions League action. His two goals were enough to give the German outfit the win over Inter. It also continued the player's great start to the campaign which could see him back at Real Madrid in the summer.
When he went to Dortmund in Summer 2018, they were expecting something similar to Carvajal a few seasons back. And everything seems to be going as planned.
Achraf is continuing to put in excellent performances in such a demanding team like Dortmund and match by match, he is making very clear that he is ready to return to Real Madrid.
Against Inter, the Moroccan put on his umpteenth exhibition of the season and he scored two goals to complete Dortmund's comeback win (3-2).
The footballer, despite being a full-back, has now netted six times this season. Four of them have come in the Champions League. Absolutely crazy.
There is still a lot of this season still to go, but his progression and performances mean that, if nothing substantially changes, his return to the Bernabeu will become a reality.
A return which could see a Real Madrid player in that position leave the club. That man could well be Alvaro Odriozola.
