It's a well known fact that Alphonso Davies is one of Real Madrid's targets for the summer of 2024, as the left-back's contract is up in June 2025. Therefore, it would be a good time to pressure Bayern over a possible desparture.
For now, the Bavarian club are not speaking about it and are relaxed about their player, but his agent Nedal Huoseh gave a surprising interview to 'Bild' about the Canadian's future.
"It's a chaotic moment at Bayern. I'm not sure what's happening and who we'd have to speak to. It seems there's too much instability and uncertainty over the club's board", he said to the German newspaper.
He then confirmed that a new deal would not be spoken about until next year, instead of this summer: "Maybe it's better to wait until 2024 to see how things are with Bayern Munich before signing a new contract".
