Pep Guardiola's City are very serious about Jules Koundé. So much so that, according to 'Marca', they have already made a first offer to Sevilla. They put 55 million on the table for the defender, but the Andalusian club rejected it outright.

Sevilla are aware of the interest that Koundé is arousing in half the world. Big teams such as Barca, Madrid, and City are interested in the centre-back.

Guardiola wants a bombproof defender and will not stop until they sign Koundé. The Sevilla player is very much to the manager's taste.

City have reportedly made a move for Koundé. 'Marca' assure that the English club have made a firm offer to Sevilla: 55 million for the centre-back.

At the Sánchez-Pizjuán they didn't have to think much about the answer: "no". Because Sevilla are clear that they aren't going to gift Koundé.

Sevilla are referring to Koundé's release clause, set at 90 million euros. Whoever wants him will have to present that sum to Sevilla, not a penny less. We will have to see if City decide to increase their offer for the Frenchman.
