On Sunday, at 16:15, the Bernabeu will see its last installment of 'El Clasico' between Real Madrid and Barcelona, before the repair works finish in summer 2023.

Florentino Perez confirmed to the club members at the last assembly that "the 'new' Bernabeu will be ready by the end of summer 2023".

Therefore, this Sunday's 'El Clasico' will be the last meeting between the two sides in the Santiago Bernabeu as we know it.

The first edition of 'El Clasico' that took place in the Bernabeu was on 19th September 1948. A little more than 74 years later, the Bernabeu will be hosting its last edition of 'El Clasico'.

The Bernabeu has hosted more than 99 meetings between the two biggest teams, and this Sunday's will be number 100. A fitting figure to start a new era in Real Madrid's history.
