Allegri wants Pjanic back at Juve

After arriving at Barcelona in a swap-deal with Arthur to balance the books, Miralem Pjanic has disappointed in his first season at the Catalan side. Injuries have blighted the campaign of a midfielder who has been unable to find a spot in Koeman's side. His poor performances have seen him put on the club's transfer list, with a surprising candidate in the Serie A emerging as his potential next destination.
This is according to reports from 'La Gazzetta dello Sport, who state that Pjanic could return to Juventus this summer. New coach Massimilano Allegri reportedly wants the Bosnian in his side, after he returned to the club on Thursday following two years away from football.
The Italian signed Pjanic in his first spell at the club back in 2016, when the midfielder was playing for Roma. Allegri was in charge of the player during the 2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19 campaigns, as the Bosnian formed a vital part of his plans.
During this time, Pjanic made a total of 136 appearances for the 'Vecchia Signora', leaving the club and their fans with fond memories before his move to La Liga, due to his strong performances on the field for their club.
Now, a year after saying goodbye, the Bosnian could return to Turin in a deal which - whether it's permanent or a loan deal - would be seen positively by Barca, who are looking to offload the significant wages of the 31-year-old.
