Allegri overtakes Nagelsmann as favourite to replace Flick in June

The differences between Hansi Flick and the board of directors at Bayern Munich leave the manager more in than out of the Bavarian club. Beyond his possible departure to the German national team, the club are working on looking for a replacement to match the status of the German.
The more likely candidate initially looked to be Julian Nagelsmann of RB Leipzig, one of the most highly rated managers in the country. However, according to reports from 'SportsMediaset', the scenario has changed and it is in fact Massimiliano Allegri who is the favourite.
The Italian, who hasn't managed in the last two seasons, acknowledged weeks ago his desire to lead a project for the 2021/22 season, and Bayern know that he has the experience needed to put himself at the helm.
Beyond his style of play, Allegri is a born winner. He showed this whilst with Juventus, and it's the quality that Bayern value highest for their change of management.
At the moment, according to the aforementioned source, there have only been initial contacts between the two, but both parties would approve of the union if Flick eventually leaves the club.
