Aleix Vidal had penalty shout turned down just before RM hit post

The start to the Alaves-Real Madrid match was lively and not short of controversy. Aleix Vidal, on a good counterattack, cut past Marcelo and went into the box where he came up against Militao. 

The ex-Barca man looked to cut inside once again to head towards goal, but he was caught by Militao's foot. The referee, Cuadra Fernandez, saw Aleix Vidal's theatrical fall and gave nothing. 

Despite the fact there was contact between Militao and Aleix Vidal, the official cautioned the home player for simulation. 

Alaves nearly fell behind just a couple of minutes later. An Isco cross found Bale and he got a touch on the ball and then Ximo Navarro turned it onto his own post.
