Agreement reached between Man Utd and Ajax for Lisandro Martinez

Despite the fact he still has three years left on his Ajax contract (until 2025), Argentinian player Lisandro Martinez could put an end to his time at the Dutch club this summer. 

The 24 year-old central defender has been on Man Utd's agenda for days and many are even speaking about a possible agreement between both parties for the player to move to Old Trafford. 

According to 'Sky Sports', the Eredivisie and Premier League outfits have completed the transfer of the Argentinian defender for an amount close to 50 million euros. 

In addition, 'De Telegraaf' adds that Lisandro missed part of Ajax's training session on Thursday so he could complete his move to the Red Devils. 

The former Newell's Old Boys and Defensa y Justicia player arrived at Ajax in summer 2019. Since then, he has made 120 competitive appearances, scored six goals and given as many assists. Last season, he played 36 matches, 35 of them as a starter.
