Goalkeeper Adrián San Miguel and Liverpool had a horrific last gameweek before the international break, suffering an astounding 7-2 defeat to Aston Villa. Former teammate and fellow red Marko Grujic criticised the Spanish keeper on social media.

Liverpool fell to one of the worst losses in their history and the biggest ever defeat for a defending Premier League champion last week. The Reds had to endure a 7-2 demolition by Aston Villa.

On social media, the 'Mirror' echoed the words of Marko Grujic, a current Liverpool player who is on loan at Porto. The midfielder also complained about the sale of Ollie Watkins during a football match.

"In his first few games he went missing a bit, so they decided to sell him off. The rest is history", he said.

But the really extraordinary statement came later when, far from backing up his teammates, he spoke out against Adrián and his time at Liverpool.

"Chances are Adrián's Liverpool career is over", he continued.

Grujic was loaned out to Hertha Berlin last year but did play two games in the EFL cup this season, scoring once, before leaving Anfield yet again.
