Chelsea are on the verge of signing Michy Batshuayi in a €40 million deal, according to L’Equipe.
The stated source are claiming that the Belgium international has agreed a five-year deal, and the club will announce the news on Wednesday.
Rather surprisingly Crystal Palace offered £31.5m to Marseille for the 22-year-old, however the striker has reportedly turned down a move to Alan Pardew’s side.
Batshuayi is wanted by a host of clubs across Europe thanks to his 23 goals scored in all competitions for Marseille last season.
Should Chelsea complete the signing, it will be Antonio Conte's first at Stamford Bridge.
