Xavi: "The match should have been at least 3-1"

Xavi's message in the changing room after the 1-1 draw with Napoli in the Europa League was clear. His team deserved a victory, an easy one in fact. He also mentioned that Ferran Torres should not be disheartened by his mistakes, and neither should Ousmane Dembele for being booed off the pitch at the Camp Nou. 'AS' revealed after interviewing the coach. 

"We're right on track, we're playing better every day. It's obvious to you that playing like this leads to victory 90% of the time. This match should have been at least 3-1. We had bad luck, but one day luck's on your side and the other day it's not. However, we've been superb in having a solid base of hard work, sacrifice, dedication and commitment. We must continue like this! Exclamied the coach.

After, he went over to Torres to say: "On a another day you score, and that's that. Don't worry about it". The ex Man City player missed a number of opportunities to score which could have made the difference against Napoli. Torres left the match upset. He was seen crying on the pitch before making his way down the tunnel. 

Xavi also spoke personally to Dembele to praise his professionalism and his performance during his time on the pitch. The Frenchman entered the field to the sound of boos from the home fans due to his refusal in renewing his contract, but he revolutionised Barca's attack and could have been key in the hypothetical victory.
