"We want to give our best version"

Robin Le Normand said Thursday that Atletico Madrid come “fully expectant” to face the Club World Cup, and although all teams are “at a very high level”, the 'Colchoneros' come to give their best version.
"We are preparing for the match in the best way, everyone is at a very high level and we want to give the best version of ourselves," said the red and white player at the end of the second training session in Los Angeles.
The French player, a naturalized Spanish national, is calm in the face of the protests that are taking place a few streets away from where they are staying. “We are focused on the tournament and we are working to arrive in the best possible form” for Sunday's match against PSG.
Recalling that duel against the French seven months ago in the Champions League at the Parc des Princes in the French capital, Le Normand insisted that "every match is different" and they are not afraid to face the European champions again.
"We know the quality of PSG, they have shown it this year to everyone, and we also know our quality, we have shown it on more than one occasion that we compete against anyone," he said.
"Suffering is part of our blood and our game," although "if we can suffer less and score more goals we always take it, but if we win we already sign it," he added.
Despite having little rest linking this tournament with the end of La Liga, "it's part of the game" and although football often doesn't go the way you want it to, the team comes to give its best, he said.
