"We struggled a little bit more in the second half"

Barcelona defender Eric Garcia acknowledged, after the victory over Osasuna (3-0) that consolidates them at the top of La Liga, that the team did not have today -for Thursday- “the freshness of other times”, but that they knew how to “handle the situation”.
“It was a complicated match against a complicated opponent after the international break and we knew how to handle it, although we struggled a bit more in the second half,” he said in statements to 'Barça One'.
Eric knew that the team could not fail. “We have made a very important comeback in La Liga to find ourselves in this situation,” he recalled.
In addition, the Catalan center-back was happy for the goal of his friend Ferran Torres, who played as a striker. “I've known him for years, I know how good he is and all the work he does and the dedication he puts in to help the team ends up giving results,” he said.
Finally, Eric García commented on the injury to midfielder Dani Olmo, who had to retire midway through the first half due to a muscle injury: “Let's hope it's nothing more than a minor injury, because we have 7 games in 20 days and we need everyone to be ready”.
