Following disaster in the Spain camp which saw captain Sergio Busquets test positive for COVID-19, the first team were forced to isolate to monitor the spread of the virus. As a result, the Under-21s were required to fill in, including all the staff. The players dazzled on the big stage, winning comfortable 4-0. First half goals from Guillamon and Brahim were added to by Miranda and Puado in the second, and the scoreline probably flattered Lithuania in truth.
After their youngsters got the job done, Spain coach Luis Enrique faces a race against the clock to find out the team he has at his disposal for their opener against Sweden on June 14.
