Borussia Monchengladbach took a trip to the Europa-Park Stadion on Saturday to face Freiburg. The two teams battled it out in a thrilling Bundesliga match that ended 3-3.
Gladbach's Bensebaini opened the scoring after just three minutes as he converted from the penalty spot. Ten minutes later, Embolo doubled the visitors' advantage and the teams went in at half time with the scoreline reading 0-2. Grifo pulled a goal back for the home side on 49 minutes, another penalty. Christian Gunter then drew level on 61 minutes. Lienhart then completed the turn around for Freiburg ten minutes from time. However, in additional time Lars Stindl drew the dramatic game level for the second time.
