VIDEO: Giroud scores sensational scorpion kick for Arsenal

With Mesut Ozil ruled out by illness, Olivier Giroud wasted little time in staking his claim for a more regular starting spot in the Arsenal team.

The Frenchman has played second fiddle to Alexis Sanchez this season but Arsene Wenger found room for both forwards against Crystal Palace and they combined to devastating effect in the first half.

Alexis led a break down the left for Arsenal and chipped a cross into the box that Giroud somehow clipped into the net with an incredible scorpion kick.
