Trippier after Brighton defeat: “The international break comes at the right time”

Newcastle are not having a good start to the season. The Magpies are in 14th place in the Premier League, having lost 3 times and with only one victory.
The latest defeat came away from home against Brighton and Hove Albion, who are in 6th place. Eddie Howe's side have had a tough start against top clubs like Liverpool and Manchester City.
Home side Brighton had a comfortable win as they were 3-0 up in the 70th minute and Newcastle's goal did not come until the 92nd minute, scored by Callum Wilson.
For their part Brighton had an undisputed star, Evan Ferguson. The young Irish forward showed all his talent by scoring a hat-trick against Newcastle.
"I thought the first five minutes we could have been 2-0 up but that is the difference in taking your opportunities. 3-0 down we kept our heads down and stuck together and kept going. We have got to use this defeat as positively as we can.
"We have the break to reset and we know we have some big games. Brighton are good in their own way, they use the box in the middle you have got be brave to man-mark them and it is a tough game," he continued.
"We could have been better of course in position and out of position. This is the reality the Premier League is relentless every team you play is difficult you have got to be brave. We are in the Champions League now we have got to be brave, we have a top team, but it is time to reset and go on international break and comeback refreshed," said 32-year-old England international Kieran Trippier.
