Tottenham: Mauricio Pochettino is expected to name a weaker side in order to rest players in the lead up to Saturday's north London derby against Arsenal. However, defenders Toby Alderweireld and Danny Rose could make returns from injury after periods on the sidelines. New signing Lucas Moura is not eligible to play as he wasn't registered for the initial tie.
Newport: The visitors will be without midfielder Sean Rigg, after he left the club by mutual consent in order to pursue a career as a tattoo artist.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino:
"Of course we need to rotate, we need to use players that don't play too much. We are having a very busy period, and we need everyone fit and available to play."
However the 'Spurs' manager insisted that his team would approach the game like any other, saying "For me, it is the same whether tomorrow is Newport or another Premier League team. We take the competition very seriously. I think it is a game that we must win."
Newport manager Michael Flynn:
Flynn was forced to apologise after a file outlining possible weaknesses in the Tottenham side was leaked to the newspapers: "I apologised on our behalf to Mauricio for it getting out. It was helpful in preparing for the first game against Spurs because we needed all the help we could get."
With regards to the game, he conceded that the home side were favourites, but added he was still hopeful: "They should still have enough to turn us over, but you never know - and that's the beauty of the FA Cup. We are dreaming now, because dreams do come true occasionally."

'The Exiles' have only won one of their seven FA Cup away games against top-flight opposition (D1 L5) - their one victory coming in the form of a 3-1 win against Huddersfield in 1949.
