Tottenham give up on Willian Jose

Willian Jose has gone from becoming a new Tottenham player to having an uncertain future this season in just a week. 

Despite the fact eveything seemed done for the 28 year-old to move to Spurs, 'AS' states that the English side have ended negotiations with Real Sociedad for the Brazilian. 

Everything seems to indicate that Willian Jose will continue for the rest of the season at Real Sociedad, a team he has made 130 appearances for. He is in his fourth season at the Basque outfit. In addition, he has scored 53 times, which makes him one of the stand out goalscorers of the team. 

Apparently, according to the previously cited media outlet, the Basque side asked for an amount close to 30 million euros while Tottenham are not willing to pay so much for him. 

The problem for the player is that he must find a new club as soon as possible or he will be forced to stay at Real Sociedad after refusing to play the Copa del Rey game last week. That was because he claimed his move to Spurs was imminent.
