Tottenham after Pedro Porro despite Barcelona interest

Pedro Porro is one of the names who has been most talked about in this transfer window. The defender is going through a great spell at Sporting Lisbon, and several clubs are interested in getting him in.
For example, Tottenham, Real Madrid and Barcelona are just three of the plethora of sides who are following the Spanish defender's progress closely, and will try and sign him this transfer window.
Without going any further, according to 'The Mirror', the Spurs board are going to travel to Lisbon in the next few hours to have another conversation with the Portuguese club, to try and agree Porro's signing.
Antonio Conte's side would be willing to get close to the buy-out clause, and would pay around €40 million to get the ex-Valladolid man in.
Therefore, everything seems to indicate that the next few days will be key in defining the future of the Spaniard, who is just 23, and could continue his career in the demanding Premier League.
