Barcelona will have to consider other alternatives if they fail to sign Leo Messi in the next transfer window. According to 'Mundo Deportivo', Yannick Carrasco, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Ez Abde are the main contenders to replace him.

Barcelona need to cut their spending by 200 million euros to bring Lionel Messi back to Camp Nou. The board are working on his transfer as he is the top priority for the next transfer window.

Nonetheless, the Catalan club will need a plan B in case they fail to sign the Argentine star. According to 'Mundo Deportivo', they have three players on their agenda: Yannick Carrasco, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Ez Abde.

The Morocco international is on loan at Osasuna but will return to Camp Nou at the end of the season. Moreover, they could sign Yannick Carrasco after Memphis Depay's transfer to Atletico Madrid.

The same media outlet reports that the Belgian could cost 15 million euros while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could join as a free agent. However, Chelsea will have the final say on Gabon's future.

These three players could form part of Barcelona's new attacking trident for next season and would be very economical options for the club.
