Barcelona and Real Madrid have had loads of stand-out players. However, there are others who have stood-out... for all the wrong reasons. We will bring you the worst XI which have featured in this intense fixture.

Albano Bizzarri

Bizzarri will never be of the best players to have played for Madrid. At the moment he is at Chievo, but during the 1999-2000 season he was at Madrid. He didn't impress anyone, but he's won a place in our XI...

Julien Faubert

The full-back tried to make cement himself a place at Madrid in the 2008-2009 season. He only played 60 minutes in two league games. Faubert was another footballer who didn't settle at Real Madrid and starts the defence of this 'special' team.

Dmytro Chygrynskiy

Chygrynskiy was one of the biggest errors of Barcelona in the transfer market. At the moment, he plays at FC Dnipro, but a a few years ago he arrived at the Catalan club hoping to shine. He didn't... and he had to leave through the back door.

Jonathan Woodgate

He managed to play for England, but he didn't at Real Madrid. Aged 36, he demonstrates his defensive struggles at Middlesbrough. Everyone at Madrid can only hope it goes better for him there than it did at the Bernabeu.

Winston Bogarde

Another transfer error of Barcelona was Bogarde. He was at the Catalan club for two season (from 1998 to 2000). Some still remember him... but not exactly for his brilliant performances.

Thomas Gravesen

This Danish midfielder also managed to play for his national side. In fact, he was one of the key players for his country. It is a shame he couldn't reach his potential at Real Madrid.

Fabio Rochemback

Another player to forget.... he arrived at Barca in 2001 and had no luck. At the moment he plays for Dalian Yifang.

Royston Drenthe

Everyone still remembers that fail against Valdes. He was on his own and managed to sky the ball.

Emmanuel Amunike

The ex- Nigerian is another player who couldn't miss out on this XI. He spent three seasons at Barcelona, but his performance left a lot to be desired.

Alexander Hleb

He was a great failure for Guardiola and for Barcelona, who paid a lot for the player. Eventually, the player and coach didn't see eye-to-eye, and Hleb left the club.

Edwin Congo

And our attacking option, Edwin Congo. You probably don't even remember him... he didn't get to debut in an official game. A real failure of Lorenzo Sanz.
