The Welsh team didn't expect to come that far

This Wednesday night Wales and Portugal will meet in the semi-final and there can be only one winner. But some of the players didn't even think about coming this far and made other plans that they can't complete now. Neil Taylor for example is one of the players who had something else than the European Cup on his mind. He bought his girlfriend tickets for the Beyoncé concert in Cardiff and didn't thought that he could be still playing for the National Team. "I thought it would be a nice birthday present. I didn't even look at the date," he admitted. In the end neither of them went to the concert because Taylor had to play against the Frenchmen and his girlfriend supported him in the stadium. Taylor's colleague Chris Gunter also commited a mistake when he accepted his invitation as a bestman at his brothers wedding in Cancún, Mexico. Eventhough his brother Marc chosed the date long before the European Cup, he is joking and says that he rather sees the game than get married. He said: " The wedding will go on. I am sure that it's the first time in history that a bestman will give his speech throug Skype."
Only Gareth Bale didn't make any plans during the Euro 2016. As if he suspected that their football dream wouldn't end as early as expected.
