Liverpool has get the Club World Cup in a few days time and they will field a weakened side for the Carabao Cup.
The Reds have two matches in practically 24 hours and they will have to play in the League Cup with a kids team because all the big guns will be in Qatar against Monterrey.
Ian Ladyman, columnist for the 'Daily Mail', made a surprising request to the team's stars.
"Ok, while I understand why Liverpool are in Qatar, I would have played it differently. Liverpool have won one domestic cup in 14 years," the columnist in the English media outlet said.
Ladyman accepted that the 'Reds' have the title almost in the bag, but believes that the reputacion of the team is not only forged in the league.
"I would have sent Mo Salah and Sadio Mane to Birmingham and put the kids on a plane to the desert (to play the Club World Cup)," he said.
"The Club World Cup is a competition nobody cares about, the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup are more important," he concluded.
