The study that proves Ronaldo is the most expensive transfer of all time

The entity specializing in financial information carried out a study that has shown the 28 million euros Inter paid for Ronaldo would actually ber worth 433 nowadays.

According to 'Play Ratings', to determine who is the most expensive player ever, the monetary revaluation and the increase in revenues must be taken into account.

The study points out that not only Ronaldo exceeds the 222 million paid for Neymar, but also Maradona (345), Platini (334), Vieri (334), Van Basten (328) and Batistuta (281), whose transfers should also be considered more costly.

After analizing the fluctuations of several different currencies, 'Play Ratings' deemed Ronaldo Nazario's switch to Inter in 1997 the most expensive ever: 433 million euros.
