The comparison between Bale and Neymar that the Welshman hates

Both players arrived at two of the best clubs in the world during the same transfer window, for a high price. These similarties have meant that a comparison of the two has never been too far away.

Four years later and the Brazilian's stats are better than the Welshman's, despite the member of the 'BBC' seeming to start off better than his Catalan counterpart.

Bale's injury problems could have had something to do with this, with Neymar having played 3,658 minutes football more than Bale.

Since arriving at their respective clubs, the former Tottenham man has registered 67 goals and 51 assists for Real, whereas ex-Santos man Neymar has clocked up 105 goals and 80 assists. 

Whether Bale should continue to be an undisputed starter for Real has been a point of much debate this season, mainly due to Isco's fine performances. Where Neymar is concerned, noone questions his role in the Barcelona team.
