David Silva was replaced at the last minute before the Alavés v Real Sociedad match. The player, who was supposed to start, didn't play the match because of discomfort in the thigh, the club informed.

David Silva couldn't play the match against Alavés despite being named as a starter. Last-minute problems in the warm-up made him leave the pitch.

After, Real Sociedad published a medical report in which they informed that the player was suffering "discomfort in his left thigh".

Roberto López took his place in the starting XI in a match that precisely the Canarian midfielder returned for after missing the last few matches due to injury.

In this way, Silva is a doubt for Real Sociedad's Europa League match against Napoli on Thursday. The presence of Mikel Oyarzabal isn't confirmed either.
