In the 34th minute, the defender had to leave the pitch due to another physical issue. It is still unknown how long he will be out for on this occasion, but Solksjaer loses a key man for the start of the league.

After a pause in the game, he felt discomfort and had to leave. His coach sent Ashley Young to warm up immediately, but he tried to return to the field. It was tested for a few moments, but he quickly realised that he could not continue.

In this way, he left the pitch before the applause of Old Trafford and had to sit on the bench. This is a new blow for the player, who is having bad luck with injuries in recent seasons. The medical part is expected to be made public soon.
