Schlupp broke the deadlock for Palace

The goal did not come as much of a shock - although Fulham have had chances, the better opportunities seem to have fallen to the 'Eagles'. 

After a neat passing exchange on the left-hand side of the box between Andros Townsend and Patrick Van Aanholt, the Dutchman played in the on-rushing Jeffrey Schlupp to took the ball in his stride before shooting towards goal. 

The strike was powerful and ended up nestling in the roof of the net; new signing Fabri could do nothing to keep the ball out of his goal. 

Great play from Palace who go into half-time with the score at 1-0.
