"Rulli isn't even good enough to be an understudy in the Championship"

Liverpool won against Villarreal, although it was not without suffering. Liverpool got themselves into the Champions League final and eliminated the Yellow Submarine.
Former player Jason Cundy was very critical of Unai Emery's side. In the first leg, he said Villarreal were "a disgrace to the Champions League, pathetic."
Lots of people stuck up for Villarreal and were hurt by what he said, but he once again made it clear that he does not regret what he said then. "Am I going to apologise to people angry with my comment? I don't care. I reiterate 100% what I said," he told 'TalkSPORT'.
At Anfield he slammed the team in general, but this time it was with Rulli whose mistakes in both legs cost Villarreal goals. "How can you go in to a Champions League semi-final with a keeper who isn't good enough to be an understudy in the Championship? He was at fault for 4 of the five goals,". Cundy thinks the goalkeeper is not enough Championship standard.
The former player believes that Emery did not have a good second half because Villarreal were 2-0 up at that point and they ended up losing 2-3. "Emery told them to sit back, let them control the game and try and counter. That is what he told them in the first leg as well. The second half was the same as at Anfield. I'm sorry, but it's unbelievable. What am I supoosed to say?," he said.
He did admit that Villarreal played well in the first period though. "I give them credit on their first half. They played well," he concluded.
