Ronaldo swung a boot at Dani Alves

There was a lot of menace behind this last 16 clash between Real and PSG, and the bad blood between ex-Barcelona player Dani Alves and Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo surfaced again in the fourteenth minute of the game. 

Alves attempted to get past Ronaldo, making contact with the forward with his arms, but this didn't leave the Portuguese international best pleased. 

Ronaldo aimed a kick at the Brazilian, swinging his left boot at him, but he failed to make contact. 

Despite the outcry from the PSG home support, no cards were shown, thankfully for Cristiano. With the quarter finals just around the corner, both sides' managers will implore their players to stay card-free to avoid any bookings.
