RM have same amount of free-kick goals in 106 games than Messi in 31

Ramos' goal against Mallorca from a free-kick is something not very common at Real Madrid. 'Los Blancos' are not used to scoring from free-kicks.
It is obvious, especially when you compare them to Leo Messi. The Argentine is a brilliant free-kick taker and he has shown it again this season where he has scored four goals from free-kick this season.
Messi has needed, up to now, 31 games to score those four goals. Many of them have been at Real Madrid, who have scored up to 106 games to reach that figure, 'Mundo Deportivo' says and 'ProFootballDB' confirms,
Real Madrid's spell began on 27th August 2017. Back then it was Marco Asensio who scored at Valencia on matchday 2 of the 2017-18 season. That same campaign, but almost at the end, it was Isco who scored against Malaga.
Last season, Real Madrid scored just once from a free-kick. That was Dani Ceballos who scored against his old club Betis on matchday 20. Since then and until Wednesday, they had not scored again.
With the goal against Mallorca, Sergio Ramos went level at the top with the highest scoring defenders in European leagues this season. He has almost got 100 in his club career.
