Real Madrid v Getafe - Preview and possible lineups

Real Madrid: Thibaut Courtois could make his debut in goal after sitting out the European Super Cup defeat. Luka Modric could return to the starting lineup despite continuing transfer speculation. There are no fresh injury concerns for the European Champions. 

Getafe: Markel Bergara will be forced to sit out after picking up an injury midweek, otherwise there is a full squad to choose from. 

Lopetegui: We have total faith in the players we have, and its the job of the coaching staff to get the most out of them. We have a lot of talent at our disposal. Every coach aims to make his team a perfect one. We've worked well and we've had to deal with the issue of players having been at the World Cup - like every other team - and the weeks of work ahead are going to be key. I feel good, we've got high hopes for the season ahead

Bordalás: They are much better, but we have to play as a team, without complaints. We will try to give a good account of ourselves, competing to a high level. Last season means nothing now, it's in the past, we have to think only in the present.
