Real Madrid-Celtic declared a high risk match

The standing committee of the State Commission against Violence, Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance in Sport has declared the Champions League match Real Madrid-Celtic to be a high-risk match.

Madrid is ready for the Scottish 'invasion'. Although Celtic have nothing at stake, a massive turnout of supporters is expected.

An estimated 7,000 Scots without tickets are expected to make their way to the Spanish capital. State security forces are already on alert.

In sporting terms, Real Madrid need to take a point to be top of the group, while Celtic are mathematically out of any chance of staying in European competition.
