CONFIRMED lineups for Man Utd v Aston Villa clash

Manchester United face one of the Premier League's most in-form teams, Unai Emery's Aston Villa, at Old Trafford. Ten Hag's team is not going through its best moment, they have only one win in their last five games and the Dutch manager's position is in question again.

On the other hand, Aston Villa are in third place and are on a roll, in their last five games they have three wins and two draws, no team has managed to beat Unai Emery's team. The Villans have had big wins over Big Six sides including reigning Premier League and Champions League winners Manchester City, Tottenham and Arsenal.

The Old Trafford side are in trouble after being eliminated from the Champions League as bottom of the group, a defeat would leave them in a very difficult position and would put the confidence placed in Erik ten Hag in the Red Devils' dugout in doubt.

Manchester United are still without Lisandro Martinez, Mount, Maguire, Lindelof, Casemiro, Malacia and Jadon Sancho (not being considered for selection), but have Diogo Dalot back from suspension. Villa go into the game with Pau Torres doubtful and Buendia, Mings, Traore, Tielemans and Olsen absent.

Aston Villa starting XI: Martinez (GK); Konsa, Carlos, Lenglet, Moreno; Zaniolo, McGinn, Luiz, Ramsey; Diaby, Watkins.
