Papastathopoulos set to join Arsenal

The Greece international has impressed for the German side, and still has two years left on his contract, but he looks set to become Unai Emery's first signing as Arsenal manager.
He could quickly be joined by Stephan Lichtsteiner. The Swiss defender is available on a free after leaving Juventus, and has been in talks with the London club.
It comes as Arsenal look to bolster their defence with experienced options, with a view to getting players who are immediately ready for the first team.
The Greek would also help compensate for the temporary loss of Laurent Koscielny, who is still recovering from the Achilles injury sustained against Atletico Madrid.
