Leicester City striker Shinji Okazaki has admitted that European football will be a big step for him, but he is relishing the chance to play in the Champions League next season.
The 29-year-old has netted five goals in 31 Premier League appearances this season and he is set to play in Europe's premier club competition next season.
Okazaki revealed that playing Champions League football had never entered his wildest dreams when he signed for Leicester.
He told Omnisport, "I can't imagine it. But once I'm finally on the big stage, I might have a better understanding and see it differently,
"I'm one of the few Japanese players who hasn't played in the Champions League despite playing in Europe for a number of years. I always wanted to move onto the European stage.
"If I can play, it will be a big step for me and Leicester City."
