OFFICIAL: Leeds sign Rodrigo

Valencia had already announced it, but it lacked the confirmation from Leeds United. On the morning of Saturday 29th August, the English side announced the official signing of Rodrigo Moreno.
As Leeds detail on their website, the 29-year-old forward has signed a four-year contract that will see him at the club until June 2024.
The ex-Benfica player had already sat the medical with the Premier League new boys on Friday. Rodrigo will work under the orders of Marcelo Bielsa in England.
Despite official figures from the deal not being revealed, Leeds have made clear in their statement that the transfer is a club record. Many sources state that the transfer was reportedly done for a sum surrounding 35 million euros.

The Spanish international was formed in the Real Madrid youth system and spent time at Bolton Wanderers. At hardly 20, he tried his luck in the Portuguese league, until he arrived at the Mestalla in the 2014-15 season. At Valencia, he has become one of the best strikers in Europe and played 220 official matches, in which he scored 59 goals.
