Odogu on his Milan transfer: ‘It was a surprise for me as well'

David Odogu recounted the moment he first learned of AC Milan’s interest during his presentation press conference. "It was a surprise for me, the day before I had a call from my agent who spoke to me about the possibility of this," he said.

"Other than being surprised, I am very happy and grateful that the Club believes in me." Odogu praised the club’s organisation and support, commenting: "Everything here is so big and professional, now I know what it means to be part of such a well-organised club like this."

He added that everyone at Milan is helping him settle and taking care of him as he prepares for the season ahead. The 19-year-old defender is viewed as a promising talent for both the present and future.
