Tottenham Hotspur paid Sevilla around 25 million euros to Sevilla last year to get hold of Bryan Gil, but he is not managing to settle in the Premier League. In the 2020-21 season, he went on loan to Valencia for the second half of the campaign and, ahead of the 2022-23 season, it is quite likely that he does something similar.
According to 'London Evening Standard, Spurs are trying to find a club for him when the league starts. The priority is for him to leave temporarily because he can still develop a lot and justify the 25 million euros they spent on the Sevilla man.
The Spaniard continues to be quite a skilful player despite the fact he has gradually become less important. He has also looked good, but his reputation could provide him with a large list of clubs interested in him unless disaster strikes and he has no options to choose from.
Bryan Gil has a contract until 2026 at Tottenham, so there is more than enough time to sort out his future as a professional. His market value, that said, has got much worse. Therefore, it does not makes sense for him to look for a new club. The team would not make returns on their investment from 2021.
