Napoli qualified for the final thanks to a 1-1 draw in the San Paolo after winning the first leg 0-1. Ospina was decisive after making three fantastic saes and he helped start the counter which saw Dries Mertens score.
The match had started in the worst possible way for Ospina, who was beated by Christian Eriksen in the second minute straight from a corner. Then, the Colombian keeper reacted and made three great saves, once to deny Antonio Candreva and twice from Eriksen.
However, the Colombian international was booked by the referee in the 77th minute for time wasting and he will not be allowed to play against Juventus on Wednesday in the cup final at the Stadio Olimpico.
Ospina, in fact, saw yellow in the first game and was one yellow away from suspension prior to the return.
