Napoli sets a meeting with Insigne's agent

Insigne will be a free agent in June 2022. That is why Napoli is rushing to sign a new deal with their captain. 

The club already made a proposal to Insigne: a new contract with a five million euros a year salary that will last until 2026. Now Insigne's future is in his own hands. 

According to 'Sky Sport', the club wants and needs an answer now. A meeting between Insigne's agent and Napoli's board is expected to occur soon to close on the details of the new deal.

Napoli wants to keep the Italian winger with them next season, but they know that if Insigne rejects the deal he could negotiate with any club in January.
