The Morocco coach, Vahid Halildozic, wants to force players with dual nationality to publicly announce which country they want to play for, the paper 'Al Akhbar' reports.
The media outlet makes reference to the cases of Brahim Diaz (Spanish-Moroccan for Real Madrid) and Yassine Benrahou (French-Moroccan for Nimes, on loan from Bordeaux).
The Bosnian boss, who has been in the role since last August, thinks both Brahim Diaz and Benrahou are just buying time because they expect to be called up by Spain and France and that they want to play for those countries.
He wants the players to make their preference clear and Halildozic is backed by the Moroccan FA president, Faouzi Lekjaa.
Diaz has been approached at least twice by Morocco and he has always turned them down. However, he can still play for Morocco providing he does not make his Spain debut in a competitive game.
Morocco are used to approaching players of dual nationality and most of their players play abroad.
