The first period to apply for tickets via 'euro2020.com/tickets' will go on until the 12th July and supporters have shown plenty of interest in getting tickets according to UEFA.
In accordance with the protocol set out by UEFA, fans do not have to pay anything during the application period and if their request is successful, they will get an email asking them to pay for the tickets within a certain time frame (around 10 days)..
If fans who ask for tickets now are unsuccessful, they will be put into UEFA's Fans First programme, which means they will be the first to get news about future opportunities to purchase tickets as well as having the chance to get semi-final or final tickets at a reduced rate.
UEFA have published indicators to show the demand each game has received as well as each section for the matches. If there is great demand, the match or category for that match will appear in red whereas if there is more of a chance of getting tickets, it will be appear in green.
Given the extremely high demand, the tickets for all the matches will allocated by a draw which will take place at the end of July. The fans will know the result of their application by the middle of August at the latest.
