Mexico v Sweden - Preview and possible lineups

What is at stake:
It's all to play for in Group F, with Mexico, Sweden and Germany all in the running to qualify depending on Wednesday's results.
Mexico only need a point against Sweden to go through and to top the group. They would also go through to the last 16 if Germany fail to win against South Korea.
Sweden are guaranteed qualification if they win, or if they better Germany's result. If they beat Mexico and Germany fall to South Korea, Sweden would top the group.
Mexico:
Juan Carlos Osorio, the Mexico coach, is well known for his squad rotations and with this being the third game in 11 days, several changes could be made to the starting XI.
Eintracht Frankfurt's Marco Fabian has been pushing for his first start of the tournament. Fabian was a standout performer at the FIFA Confederations Cup in 2017, and will want to make his mark here as well.
Midfielder Jesus Corona could also be pushing for a starting position in the squad.
Sweden:
Sweden are likely to stick with the same team that were only just denied a draw with Germany by Toni Kroos' injury-time free-kick winner.
Sebastian Larsson, Albin Ekdal and Viktor Claesson are all one more booking away from a suspension, so could be rested.
Form:
Mexico forward Javier Hernadez on World Cup matches:
“You can prepare yourself for years, think of every contingency, and still, something unexpected happens and you end up losing the match ... or winning it! That’s what football is about, and we’re trying our best to be the best we can be."
Sweden manager Janne Andersson on the opposition:
"Mexico is individually a very skilful team and they’ve played two great matches, and are very good on the counter attack. We will go into the match to do everything we can in order to reach the performance and result that is needed."
Did you know?
Mexico are unbeaten in four of the five matches between the two sides (W2, D2), although these games were friendlies.
