Although there has still not been an official announcement of his signing, images have been leaked which show that Leo Messi will wear the number 30 shirt at PSG.

Thanks to an exception from the French league, Leo Messi will wear the number 30 shirt for PSG - a shirt number normally used by goalkeepers - and not the '10', which was declined by Neymar, local media reported.

Subject to official news from PSG, which will be imminent, Messi has chosen the number 30 shirt as that was the number he wore in the first two of his 17 seasons at Barca.

The Argentinian star, in the first images of him at the Parc des Princes, smiled while posing with his number 30 shirt. He also had his first touches of the ball on the pitch.

Messi got that number after PSG managed to get Ligue 1's rule saying that the number 30 shirt was only for keepers abolished.
